Employees regard life insurance coverage as one of the most important benefits they receive1.

Because of the importance employees place on this benefit, we offer employers a choice of plans for groups with as few as three employees. The amount of coverage can be based on a multiple of earnings, flat amounts or a combination of the two.

The company's standard term life contract integrates its disability benefit provision with the company's strong long-term disability definition of disability. Additionally (with the consent of the beneficiary), our standard contract allows an 80% maximum amount payable to an insured who requests an accelerated benefit. We now also continue ancillary coverages such as AD&D, and regularly will provide a benefit in case of the death of dependent children from live birth to age 19 (to 25 if a full-time student).
